The Sun is Hot, The Road is Long...

Best take a little detour to ease the monotony!  (See extra) :-)

Tomorrow is Alfred's twelfth birthday.  We're taking him into Hamburg early in the morning, where he will be guest of honour (as far as we're concerned) on a boat trip on the Alster lake.  Next stop will be the luxury pet shop (with luxury prices - but he's worth it), where he will choose a new designer collar.  Then we'll be pretty hungry, so it's off somewhere for lunch where he'll get his usual treat of boiled chicken chunks.  I'm hoping we'll find a nice duck breast or some other delicacy to roast for his dinner - as that will round off his special day perfectly!  

P.S. Don't tell him - it's a surprise...
