Aquilegia and weeping pear

When we moved to our house about 10 years ago, we inherited an old weeping pear tree in the garden.. It had been trimmed to within an inch of its life and resembled an umbrella. We let it grow so that its branches could actually "weep" and thechimp has now cut a path through its denseness
