Pretty in pink

A change in the weather today, rather windy and a bit cooler - not great for taking close up photos of flowers with them blowing in the wind! I have been disappointed as I have not noticed any summer poppies around here, although I did see this one on my dog walk today - its not wild though, it was outside someone's house.

It is not a good week for the UK with the elections coming up and the leaders fighting over how best to handle security issues in the wake of the latest terrorist attack. I am going to London tomorrow and am feeling a tad nervous about being in large public areas - like railway stations. Oh well, life has to carry on and we cannot be intimidated by these vile people. (meaning the terrorists, not the politicians, although some of them.....!)
