Tough Little Cookie

Katie found todays top in the clothes supposedly for this winter, except that they are for the main, a bit on the large size! Including this teashirt. But she insisted she wanted to wear it and its very cute, with the "tough little cookie" slogan and a dancing cookie on it.

She was at nursery this morning, and I admit she kicked up a fuss. She'd stopped before I got to the door out of the corridor. When I went back in, I had to pop into the office and the two managers both commented how brilliantly she is doing and how she's settled right in, so I do know its just initial grumpy at the being left.

We've done a few bits of shopping and had lots of time playing. She's sat with cat, monkey, purple monkey, minnie, timmy and others. She's done the register, she's done the list of who ate what for dinner and who had seconds. She's done the day of the week, the phonic of the day and the stickers for getting the phonics/days right. She doesnt always tell me verbally a huge amount about her day (today all she said was "Rachael told me Brooke and Eva werent going to be in nursery today and they werent") but she often re-enacts it for me.

Whenever she comes in, the very first thing she asks for, the start of a long list of food regardless of the time of day, is an ice pop. Which is what she is concentrating on here.
