Snail Pull-Ups

A week or so ago blipper SueL7 posted a great macro shot of a snail which inspired my blip buddy MaryJo and me to round up some snails and give it a try too.  We were quite amazed by the little creatures and their ability to negotiate their environment.  A couple of times we thought they were in a predicament they couldn't get out of but they re-invented themselves turned around and went in another direction.  At times it looked like they were turning themselves inside out.  They put on quite a show for us and I think were completely worn out because after about a half hour of entertaining us they stopped moving altogether.  I hope they were only worn out and not dead.  I'd hate to think we killed off a creature for a photo shoot.
