There's Life In The Pond!

After last nights rain the pond is filling up. The last time I was there it was almost dry.
The frogs seemed to like the fresh water. They were making a whole lot of noise.
When I looked at the photo on the screen, I found many more fogs than I had seen when I was looking at the real ones!

Besides the frogs and me listening to their concert I saw two deer and two red squirrels (no chance of blipping the squirrels, as usual) and I heard a cuckoo. Several times. The cuckoo made my day. I'm lucky if I hear one more than once a year.

And at the end of the day I've seen more animals than people, as usual.
