Waiting in the Wings

Dear Diary,

I sort of feel like this iris bud, patiently waiting for my time to open up and greet the sun.  I have felt so unwell that I have ventured outside only briefly to feed my chipmunks and squirrels.

The sun is shinning today and I am hopeful that I might be able to get out into it but that remains to be seen.  The medication I am taking has its own set of side effects so I will just take it slowly and see how it goes.  Thank you all so much for your well wishes...they are very much appreciated.
