Longyearbyen

I’ve passed through Longyearbyen (the main town) in Svalbard on a couple of occasions, but not had the opportunity to stay there before.

This gave me the chance to explore the town - a lovely little museum, plenty of shops (particularly if you are looking for thermal underwear and other expedition gear) and lots of old mine workings.
