Time

47 years since I was last in this shop. I used to live across the road from it. The shop has hardly changed, apart from the new cool cabinet, and the sinister meat slicer has gone. When you bought stuff it was wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. There was always great anticipation when grapes arrived. They were in casks filled with cork. Biscuits were not wrapped but you picked them from metal boxes with transparent lids.

Where has the time gone?
