Sunrise - 10

This morning I was treated to a glorious sunrise across Kawau Bay. This photo was taken ten minutes before the sun emerged over Tawharanui. Hauturu-o-Toi (Little Barrier Island) is the purple eminence in the distance. Nowadays it is a nature sanctuary, which requires a permit to visit.

I have spent most of today making some headway into organising the downstairs study; taking books from where they have been piled or remain in boxes and put them onto one or other of the nine bookcases we have in here. That part of the task is now done.
