Franz Kafka died on this day in 1924 . . . I watched a self-indulgent video of Will Self visiting Prague two years ago. Now I shall have to read The Country Doctor .
I snapped a very unsatisfactory photo (not that this one is much better) on the phone a little earlier. I'm just desperate not to miss a day. It was hot today after being so dull and muggy the past couple of days.
