Unseasonal visitor.

Robins are most usually linked to winter, snow and sometimes cheesy greetings cards. However, those robins are with us all year round but we tend not to see them for all the leaves on the trees and all the other birds that attract our attention. This one posed very nicely on top of the bird feeder while we were visiting MaggieD's Mum this morning.
The weather was still good when we returned home so I got the grass cut before it started spitting and then it just didn't waste ant time - absolute stair-rods it was and thunder & lightning too! And that was about it for the afternoon. Lots of rain but the ground is very dry and just soaked it all in.
This morning's route took us along the M73/M74 corridor and I was delighted to see the end of all the cones and lane restrictions, we sailed through with the greatest of ease. Well done all concerned!
