A bit of intimidation works wonders

I headed off to my usual spot for a walk this morning. Another beautiful sunny day but thankfully a wee bit cooler!
There wasn't too much on the water to capture but then this cormorant decided to land on the concrete pad on the far side of the pond. The gulls were nesting there and weren't overly impressed with a big black bird landing on their nursery site! So they took it into their head to harass him by dive bombing him.
The shot isn't overly sharp because I was a long way away and so has been cropped to death , but I like the action anyway
