Saturday Self-portrait

Yesterday I was talking about colour and how orange is my favourite colour. That was still in my thoughts this morning and so as I was wondering what to come up with for my self portrait this morning, here's where I landed.  A newer-to-our-home purchase, this carpet is a breath of vibrant colour that speaks of new life to me!  Yesterday I mentioned cool and warm undertones and this warm toned carpet definitely doesn't match with my burgundy cool toned furniture.  The best part is?  I don't care.  I intentionally have kept it and added other textures and colours into the eclectic mix of my living room.  I love it as it's challenged my perfectionism and made me bend my own rules. So good.

For now I'm trying to stick with mono images for these selfies, but I did include the colour version in the extras. ;)
