Broad bodied chaser

This time a male.  He cruised the pond for several hours, frequently sitting on stalks of last years flowers to rest, and survey his kingdom.  But no sign of a female.

Not done much today apart from relax and enjoy the garden.  But Z is here for the night, and we're going out this evening.

There were also many azure blue damsel flies, and some red ones.  And lots of flies and bees amongst the meadow.
