Opening before my eyes

The oriental poppies in the garden come up every year. This year there seem to be loads of buds. I saw this one before I went to work as I was hanging the washing out. As the day was warming up, the flower was opening before my eyes. The green sepals fell to the ground and you could see the delicate petals unfurling. I could have watched for hours.
