Alice & Isobel

Went to Christchurch today to visit my grandniece Isobel, 3 months old. A real cutie too!
It was a day of catching up with family and friends while I was in Christchurch. I don't get to visit there as much now cause of the fuel cost, and I don't enjoy driving long distances as much now as when I was younger. I went to have a look at the house I lived in in Christchurch, because of the damage due to the February earthquakes it is no more. The land has been scraped clean, all that is left is the garden shed sitting forlornly in the corner of the section and a huge sinkhole full of water.
It doesn't pay to go back, I felt so sad to see the house gone, it was only 10 years old.
