The other side of the tracks
Catching up with our trip to Alaska, back-blip 2 of 7. Feel free to check out the others.
We moved for the remainder of the Memorial Day weekend to a smaller RV park just north of Seward. Just 8 RVs and a few log cabins in the woods. The property had a lake frontage but was cut in two by the Anchorage to Seward train line. For us this was great.
At 10.45am the train would pass going to Seward and at 6.45pm it would head back to Anchorage. Such powerful beasts these things are. Loud too when they blast their horn to say they're coming.
