clematis and spirea

Completely different - a stunning warm sunshiney day. 

This morning we waved goodbye to Freddie and his mum as they set off to spend a few days with a friend in Limerick and to go to a first birthday party. 
My gardener came for a while, I worked in the tunnel and got half-way caught up. 
This afternoon our friendly tv guy came by and set up the new tv for us. Because we are on a ratings panel we get looked after like this free of charge, and just as well as it was so complicated we would never have managed it ourselves!
Nice to be able to watch Netflix on the tv this evening and feel like we have joined the 21st century at last.
