Harris hospitality

So we have arrived on the isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. It was a windy and misty day but it did not have much of a effect on our sailing over from Skye, only the views. The port of Tarbert is a nice wee place and we are sharing a lovely big house with some of our Aberdeen friends who are also here for tomorrow's wedding. We had a walk around and had a visit to a local craft fair and the modern new Harris Gin distillery where we had a nice lunch (and a gin...when in Rome....). The whole village seems to know all about tomorrow's wedding and everyone we have met have been really friendly.
