Faded...

Today was my last morning with my youngest charge, as he starts nursery next week, ahead of his Mum returning to work.

I'll miss him, especially as he's so fun at the moment. Commando crawling, a couple of teeth, interested in everything.

So, a morning with M, then by the time I picked the other charges up, the sun was out and it had turned into a nice afternoon.

One was up in his room listening to the charts, the other was lying in the lounge listening to an audio book of Mr Gumm, and I was in the garden , reading.

Perfect.

Home, pizza made by Iain and then the first 2 episodes of American Epic.

I love programmes that tell the history of music. Delta Blues and the origin of The Carter Family...plus none of this overdub or multi takes like musicians today. It was a one off recording - put straight onto the glass disc and then pressed into vinyl.
