Yes, this is weird. So you have an artificial skating thingymabob in the middle of town every year. Finally it's below 0, so you'd say their electrical bill is less then other years... and then you have this: Christmas/newyears is over, so they want to remove the complete unit.. But it doesn't melt!

In stead of big-ass freezing units they didn't need, they're using big-ass heaters to melt the frekkin' ice...
