The wind

Carrying on from yesterday, that low pressure tightened up the isobars last night and was still gusting this morning. When the tree canopy is still full of leaf, the wind pressure must be tremendous. As I got into the back lane the lower branches were really flapping around so I decided to try and capture the movement on my little pocket camera. I am constanly amazed at what can be achieved with it. Anyway, it was a balancing act as always, trying to capture movement looking towards the light without over exposing. You try a number of combinations of shutter speed Vs aperture.......and then the wind dies!
