Snakes ( and no ladders)

Went for a walk this AM on a Nature Conservancy property- Nags Head Woods. Not a lot of birdly activity , but lots of butterflies , dragonflies and the occasional snake. I am afraid I cannot tell you what it is.
Just an apology to the rest of the world for the incompetent fool that has been elected president and his decision to pull the US out of the Paris Climate Accords . 
 Just a plea to those of you in the US- support the Nature Conservancy , Sierra Club or whatever conservation association you like. They are going to need the help. AND VOTE IN 2018!!! and again in 2020 and get these people out of office !
