Blippers shopping

Occasionally we have to leave our green bit of Paradise and go to the “big city” of Ganges on Saltspring to get some supplies.   We wait for a decent day to drive the boat over, about 30 min.    The best part is if we can meet blipper Nanzy19 and hubby G, who live there .   Today it worked out.. she wore her Chicago t-shirt for me, and we had a great lunch with lively talk.   Of course no one can resist a wee discussion with Americans on the currant state of the world and how the USA is now joined with Nicaragua and Syria as we pull out of the Paris agreement to try to save our Earth.  One unbelievable embarrassing thing after another from that agent Orange!     But it will take time to take effect and most of us will support the good efforts out there anyway. 
 
Nancy 19 doesn’t really like to have her picture taken and I’ve never blipped a grocery store before I don’t think so she laughed when she saw me snap this after we’d just done our after lunch grocery shopping at the big Thriftys.   I could hardly wait to get out of the store it was so crowded.  (but then grocery shopping is not high on my fun list anywhere)  And then we came home on calm seas.  Very nice day, thanks to J and G!


We are moving slowly toward this goal, but tomorrow I’m definitely counting on seeing nice clear water out of our taps!
