What a cheek!!

I saw this pest on one of the roses and viewed it as a "Blip". It wasn't until I uploaded it that I saw how much of the petal it had eaten!!!

I blipped one last August and found that it is a Vapourer Moth larva. Whilst I was taking the pictures the larva fell off, so goodness only knows what it is chomping on this evening.

A day spent doing the laundry and working in the garden. I hadn't planned to stay outdoors for so long, but there was just a procession of "other things" to do.
