I was blessed with a surprise visit from a good friend and her daughter with fresh roses and cake for my birthday this morning. Her daughter took some time to make me some pictures and a little shell necklace on string. So sweet.

My boys took time to have a necklace incribed that says 'children and mothers never truly part bound in the beating of each other's heart." Cannot believe the oldest took the initiative on Monday to pick it out and have it all ready.

So many cards, texts, emails, and well wishes. It was wonderful to hear from good friends and family. Birthdays don't bother me. I've lived each age, every day to the fullest. Today I was blessed to realize all of the support and friendship that has accumulated. I'm grateful.
