Working late

I'm just taking a break. There are two cruise ships coming in tomorrow and still work to be done, preparing everything for the tour groups. It's sometimes crazy, managing up to 200 or so people heading out on tour at a time, but it's also rewarding. When our guests return to their ship loving our city the way we do, then we know we've done our job well.

Despite the long hours at this time of year, this is the best job I've ever had, the best team of coworkers and the best workplace, too. I'm lucky to be here, and thankful.
