Flower Friday Display

After rain all night we have promised sun all day today and the iris are loving it as are the buttercups. I have given up trying to get the buttercups from the garden.
There is GREAT excitement in the village... well, in the entire county today. After two week of rain lawn mowing will happen this entire weekend! You can see the level of the grass tops in the background of this blip.

The slugs are in heaven too.
Someone told me how to get rid (over time) of slugs is to use masonry sand (coarse) around the plants. That means I would have to live in a rock quarry or at the beach. I'll buy a bag today anyway
