Shakespeare Tower, Barbican.
I've had a great day today. We went to the Barbican to see Carousel (the musical). I would recommend it to anyone but sadly its last performance is Saturday (15th).
We went for a meal after the performance and I thought I'd review the photos I'd taken around the Barbican during the day. To my horror there were only 11 images on my card and these had all been taken after the show. I was somewhat beside myself but remembered that Sandisk provided me with some file recovery software with one of the memory cards I bought. At home I accessed the software, put my card in the computer and magically it recovered 132 images and only failed with 3. It is a great bit of software. I can only think that somehow when I put my camera in my bag I failed to turn it off and somehow the format menu was activated.
Today's blip is one of the rescued files. It was taken using one of the Olympus Art Filters - Grainy Film. It is of the Shakespeare Tower (one of three residential towers) to the west of the Arts Centre.
