Back from The Brink

Tonight has been something of a social whirl!

Straight after work I headed off to Kimos for one of my regular pizza evenings with Carol. Yum!

Then it was off to FACT to meet Mel for a drink - from whence it was but a short hop over to The Brink for a get-together with all manner of friends old and new at the Open Mic night, the highlight of which was a lovely a cappella turn by fellow book clubber Kate. It was also particularly good to see my official Japanese tutor Helen and to bump into my fabulous Polish pal Zbyszek - pictured above with The Brink's guest list!
