Seats in the sun

Spent the morning at home doing some jobs and waiting for a guy to come and repair some minor damage to some items of furniture, sustained during our recent move back from France. It was fairly late in the afternoon before I got out for a walk. I just went for a local walk, since Roger was going to be back before me, and was going to want my car to take his bike to the Cycling club meeting point! I decided to walk to Pioneer Park, as I used to before we left for France, along relatively quiet residential streets. However, I found that things had changed over three and a half years, and a new housing development is going in, so I was forced to stick to paths on busy roads which isn't as enjoyable. The park itself though was looking very lush and green, and I enjoyed several minutes sitting on these swinging seats by the pond, enjoying the sunshine. It was a late dinner tonight, since Roger wasn't back from his bike ride until about 8.45 - he cycled 30 miles this evening, so I think he'll sleep well tonight!
