Birds & peeps, and a wee old oose, around Westport

Spent the morning wandering around Westport town, then headed west along the coast.  Tide was out, and the first beach was difficult to access a swimable area.  The second beach was glorious, but the sea too rough for us oldies to swim in.  Nothing to do with the water temperature / the pain experienced when paddling!  So, no salty swim this trip. :-)
