New Shoes

Rachel was working today and Violet was at Nursery, but I was on Nanny duty with Scarlett and we've had a lovely day.

I was due to meet Catherine for lunch, but she's in the middle of her radiotherapy treatment and isn't feeling very well, so we've postponed it until she's finished her treatment. Instead, I met my friend Audrey who I've not seen for quite a few years and it was like we were picking up from just a few weeks ago.

Then I took Scarlett swimming at David Lloyd and we went in the outside pool.  It was great as there weren't many people there.  The children's pool was empty so I took a couple of photos of Scarlett but the lifeguard told me off as you're not supposed to take photos.  I said I thought it would be ok as there wasn't any other children around, but he said it's their policy.  Anyway I got a couple which I've put in my extras.

Rachel, Scott and Violet are just home and Rach and I are getting ready for a girls night out with Wendy.

Violet had her first pair of shoes the other week and was trying to put them back on when she got home, and I love the light on her here.

Anyway, Wendy's here so I'd better to go!

Our exciting news is that Alan's booked us a weeks' holiday in Menorca for our wedding anniversary in September :-)
