Huddersfield

A long old day as I had to travel to Huddersfield for a training course.  Up early at ridiculous o’clock to drive to Abergavenny, catch the train to Manchester and then change trains to get to Huddersfield.

Still the day was worth it!  Now to put it in practice.

The training course was at Huddersfield train station, and what a magnificent building it is as well.  Very impressive.  A statue of Harold Wilson can be found in the square outside, and also not far away is the birthplace of rugby league, the George Hotel.  Magic!

Bumped into Leanne Wood, Plaid Cymru leader, at Manchester station on the way home, she was off to a televised leader’s debate.
