Destroyed!

We have a couple of bags in our large shed (it has no doors on it) full of old garden cuttings that we are yet to dispose of.  This is what I found in one of the bags today........We have had a crow hanging around recently and its been attacking my car (Yes really!)....I think maybe I found the reason why......I am assuming these eggs belong to the crow.  I would be most pleased if any blippers could identify the eggs and correct me to my assumption.
