Down on the farm

One of my visits took me to the farm again. No trip round to see the calves this time but a fascinating conversation between two farmers. It was like listening to a whole new language. I'm learning so much about breeding cows! I also had a history lesson which took me back to the Battle of Bosworth (1485). I visited Bosworth field a few times when I was younger and we were visiting Nan at Market Harborough. Interesting connections, the land around here was given to Lord Derby after that battle and some of the tennant farmers had been his soldiers.
