Ground?

I think this brown sugar, cinnamon and cocoa count for things ground. ;-) Not a great shot. Taken quickly in a coffee spot in Vancouver. P and I came today for a few pre-trip chores. I have a couple of Board meetings. He has to get a part welded for the engine of our boat. He opened the engine compartment to find the fuel filter and its holder lying loose on the engine top! The bracket that holds the filter canister had sheared off somehow and when?? A bit of welding required to create a new bracket to reattach. This might be a short term fix.  Maybe it will be enough. Not sure. A new part has to come from Sweden and will be three weeks. He found a small welding shop yesterday that has promised to fit us in and hopefully we will be back on the Island Friday night and off on the weekend. Fingers crossed like those for NannaK and the water guy. ;-) The life of "living by the water"
