Doing the June daily challenge and today it is "leaf"

This is our new Hibiscus Mahogany Splendor.   If planted in partial shade it reverts to a green leaf but in the full sun you have the rich mahogany coloured leaves and also get pink flowers.  It is known as "The poor man's Japanese Maple"

I think today will be a relatively quiet day after my long day yesterday.  Kent just had the stone chips in his windshield repaired and then has an eye appointment this afternoon.

Today is my parent's 60th wedding anniversary.  Birgit took the photo of me with my parents about this time last year, that I have put in extras.
