My beloved's

Can you believe it ?!! Winter strikes again after all these wonderful days of sunshine. Made a large fire and had friends for coffee, cake and much spoiling of 'moi' with presents. The birthday celebrations continue and as I walked the woofs in the vineyards I reflected on how I had contemplated asking friends to not give presents this year but give to charity instead. As we live in a country where the divide between the haves and the haves not is so glaringly wide, you feel a wee bit guilty.. But oh, how I do love receiving presents on my birthday, somehow I don't mind not at Christmas. My beloved daughter Kate made me this card with a collection of photos of when they were young... Feels like only yesterday! And next year.. I'll insist on charity!
