Early Morning Dip

I'm pretty early with this one today. Well I was up at 3.30 and out the door at 4.00 to meet up with these guys for a morning dip. All part of my channel training. Acclimatising and getting used to going in at odd hours.
I really enjoyed it.
Was so nice that others from my club joined us too. I thought the water temp was fine although some found it very cold. That just proved to me that all this dipping in cold water is worth it. I seem to be able to cope with it now.
It was Jonathan's birthday so we all sang happy birthday while treading water with the sun coming up. I bet that doesn't happen much.
Phil brought donuts along for after our swim too. Yummy even though I shouldn't really have eaten one.
A really good start to my day. Hope it's a good day. It's a special day today.....I'm waiting to see if Andy has remembered!
