Happy Birthday - 3 today

Today is Kerr's 3rd birthday. He has had a fantastic day, from start to finish.

Kerr put in a request for breakfast pancakes today, so we made a batch and scoffed them all pretty quickly - drizzled with maple syrup and lemon juice, yum!

We had a visit from Chaos Bros 3 and 4 with Chaos Daddy. They brought Kerr a fab birthday gift on their way to the Scarecrow Festival fun.

Granny and Grandad were next to visit the birthday boy, also armed with a lovely gift and we enjoyed tea and cakes with them too. By the time they left Kerr was getting a bit over excited and tired, so we took him for a drive and he had a much needed pre party nap.

His birthday party this afternoon was at Gymboree. All his little friends from toddlers were there along with his cousins. It was a noisy, exciting afternoon and I think everyone enjoyed it. Kerr certainly did. It was a pirates and princesses theme and his birthday cake was a pirate one.

After the party Gran and Grandpa popped in to visit, armed with yet more gifts, and more cake and tea were scoffed.
Kerr is a very lucky boy and has had a wonderful day. He has received lots of lovely presents and cards from all his family and friends. He finally crashed out in bed at 8pm.

I'm glad birthdays are only once a year!
