Frenchie

This is our teenage French Black Cooper Maran Rooster. He will become more and more colorful. We haven't come up with a name yet so I guess Frenchie it is! Marans lay rich dark brown eggs that honestly look like chocolate! I can't wait till they are grown! We have him and maybe 2 young pullets that are black, then we have other color variations of the marans, splash, blue, and blue splash. I'm hoping for at least 5 maran pullets, hopefully more out of 9 chicks.
Thanks so much for the well wishes on the cold. It hasn't stopped me yet but I'm moving slowly. :-) I have not gotten to many journals in the past week. I apologize and miss you guys. Hopefully I can catch up soon.
