a busy day at work, I didn't manage to get out for a walk at lunch so my step count is pretty bad today, oh well.

we all went out to tiger lily with karen, dave and amy tonight for a celebratory marathon tea which was lovely. always ace to see them and we set ourselves the challenge of doing the west highland way next year which would be great. something we've all wanted to do at some point. I originally had thought we could run it, but that would be a bit tricky carrying our stuff with us. anyway, hopefully we can plan that and do it next summer.

I nipped off to pick up mum and dad from the airport after their trip to singapore and Hong Kong - sounds like they had a brilliant time. nice to have them home, we've missed them.
