My alma mater

I had the pleasure of lunch at the University of Stirling today, as a guest of the retired staff association (SURSA). The lunch was part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the university's founding in 1967. I was interviewed a couple of years ago as part of SURSA's ongoing oral history project and today was a wee thank you for that. The campus was looking superb today in the sunshine. It's been a long day as I drove down at six this morning, and fitted in a wee visit to my mum before lunch, drove back about 4pm in time for an evening meeting at New Deer with my councillor hat on. Now chilling for a wee bit before bed!
