Cemetery Junction

In the odd break in the weather we managed a walk this afternoon.

For a change we walked up to the old cemetery close to where we used to live.

It is an amazing place and a haven for wildlife in the town. In the time we were there we saw muntjac deer, squirrels and green woodpeckers.

It's a large site and a fascinating place to look at local history. So many tragic stories including families who lost 3 sons in a matter of months in the First World War.

Not your typical bank holiday walk.
