My Dear Fellow,

There was only 30 minutes for a break at lunchtime today. This was due to a silly and pointless checkpoint meeting followed by a working group meeting at which we re-checked the checkpoints from the checkpoint meeting.

A waste of TIME?! You must be some sort of cynic, away with you!

So anyway, I escaped out into the sun and walked to the building site/area of natural beauty near the office. And it was there I was confronted by a STRANGE MAN in the BUSHES. He was fingering his instrument and making a strange MOANING noise.

It is not often one comes across a chap blowing his own Dudelsack in public. I've no idea why he was out there. Maybe his wife threw him out of the house for making a racket. Maybe he thought the builders would enjoy watching him out there, tuning his pipes. Either way, it certainly made my lunchtime more diverting than usual.

I also managed something I've been attempting for a while. A sparrow picture. The little beggars usually scarper as soon as they see my telephoto lens coming at them. The little guy in the extras wasn't swift enough but still, this was the only usable picture I got.

And then it was a rush back to the office. To check the points and point the checks. It was the office equivalent of squeezing one's own Dudelsack for 30 minutes.
