Your Hairiness!

I wasn't happy that my Philadelphus is covered in blackfly, but it has it's advantages. The sweet goo they produce has encouraged wasps and ladybirds. So here's my first wasp of the season. 

I spent the day with a friend and we had a leisurely stroll around Trentham Gardens and then lunch. On our walk around the lake we managed to see the female Banded Demoiselle (see extra).

Both shots are not the best as it was a little windy but still worth recording.
