Feeling herbaceous

l had to tie up the poppies at the weekend as they has slumped over the grass.. and now look at them!!  This border is looking lovely just now.. absolutely thrilled to have the delphiniums survive the slug onslaught that usually makes them disappear before they arrive. This is their second year.. woohoo!!!  I am also amazed at the number of pink poppies.. usually they are all red (see here)

No luck yet in finding someone to house sit.. and drawn a blank for all the dog carers who wont let Flossie come due to her being on heat... plan C is looking imminent
