With a spring in our step - three ladies walked six miles - taking in this view - across to the other side of the Aire Valley - and a horse grooming itself - from behind a fence

Had a Spring Watch moment in St Ives - saw my first woodpecker family - a chick was peering from a tree trunk nest - waiting for its obliging parents to fly back to it with food. A very nice man - with camera and tripod was taking photos - and gave us details of other nests

Think we'll be springing into action to visit them
